As <\/span>Co-Project Manager (Craftsmanship)<\/span><\/strong>, you will share overall responsibility for the SKILLS FACTORY with your counterpart in Social Work & Administration. Your focus will be on the manual and creative side – leading departments, guiding production, mentoring participants, and coordinating a team of volunteers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Together, you will drive an initiative that unites social impact and craftsmanship, empowering people through making, learning, and community.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • Co-lead the strategic planning<\/span><\/strong> and daily operations of the <\/span>SKILLS FACTORY on Samos<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>
  • Oversee all craftsmanship departments<\/span><\/strong> (Barber, WASH, Kitchen, Tailor, Media, Maintenance).<\/span><\/li>
  • Guide <\/span>production<\/strong> <\/span>processes, <\/span>certification <\/span>schemes, and quality standards.<\/span><\/li>
  • Supervise<\/span><\/strong> and mentor a team of 3 <\/span>coordinators<\/strong> <\/span>and several volunteers.<\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure the proper use and <\/span>maintenance of buildings, tools, and equipment<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>
  • Manage inventories<\/span><\/strong>, materials, and workshop safety.<\/span><\/li>
  • Foster an <\/span>empowering, inclusive, and creative<\/span><\/strong> work environment.<\/span><\/li>
  • Implement project frameworks, <\/span>policies<\/span><\/strong>, and <\/span>safeguarding<\/strong> <\/span>standards.<\/span><\/li>
  • Support <\/span>emergency response<\/span><\/strong> and operational readiness when required.<\/span><\/li>
  • Report<\/strong> <\/span>regularly to the Director and collaborate closely with your Co-Project Manager (Social Work & Administration).<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Requirements:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    • Trained craftsperson<\/span><\/strong> or maker with a background in a hands-on trade.<\/span><\/li>
    • Ideally an <\/span>all-rounder<\/span><\/strong> who enjoys working with tools, <\/span>fixing, building, and creating<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
    • Proven <\/span>team leadership <\/span><\/strong>experience with the ability to motivate, delegate, and take responsibility.<\/span><\/li>
    • Experience or strong interest in the <\/span>humanitarian <\/span>or <\/span>social sector<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
    • Long-term commitment:<\/span><\/strong> willing to engage for at least one year or longer.<\/span><\/li>
    • Organised, practical, and creative<\/span><\/strong> – able to turn ideas into action and keep operations running smoothly.<\/span><\/li>
    • Fluent in English (Greek, French, or Arabic are an advantage).<\/span><\/li>
    • Calm, friendly, and good-humoured<\/span><\/strong>, even under pressure.<\/span><\/li>
    • Emotionally resilient<\/span><\/strong> and able to maintain healthy boundaries in a challenging context.<\/span><\/li>
    • Guided by a <\/span>person-centred and participatory<\/span><\/strong> approach<\/strong>, open to learning from others.<\/span><\/li>
