In our Maintenance Department, skilled construction workers from around the globe collaborate to ensure our facility, its departments, and its surroundings are meticulously maintained. Our team swiftly addresses and repairs issues, continuously improving infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our departments.
Background
Our community volunteers bring a diverse range of construction skills and extensive professional experience. Given the urgent demand for skilled workers across Europe’s construction sector, our maintenance workshop serves as a platform for community members to share their expertise, acquire new skills, and build confidence in a new context.
Our work in the Maintenance-Department includes:
- Construction Works and Repairs: This includes tasks such as tiling, concrete work, and plumbing to address both minor and major repairs.
- Carpentry:We handle the repair and construction of furniture and wooden structures for the SKILLS FACTORY, ensuring functionality and durability.
- Electricity Works and Repairs:Our team maintains and repairs electrical devices, working closely with the phone repair department to ensure all equipment is in optimal condition.
- Welding and Metal Works: We construct metal solutions for our buildings and departments, contributing to both structural integrity and aesthetic improvements.
- External Jobs: Whenever feasible, we extend our support to other actors and local communities in need, leveraging our skilled team's capabilities to assist beyond our immediate environment.
