Project Coordinator for "One for One"
Are you passionate about humanitarian causes and making a meaningful impact on the lives of asylum seekers? «One for One» is a crowdfunding project initiated by selfm.aid in cooperation with i have rights, working to remove barriers to basic human rights for asylum seekers. We’re seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Coordinator for this remote volunteer position.
About «One for One»:
In collaboration with the legal NGO «I have rights», we are working to counteract the Greek government’s policy of charging fees for asylum procedure steps, preventing access to fundamental human rights. Our solution is simple yet impactful: we create unique lino prints and offer them for donation, with the proceeds covering these fees. One print, one case.
As project coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Establish and maintain a network of legal actors across Greece.
- Maintain the Chuffed crowdfunding page to ensure its effectiveness.
- Manage requests and process fee payments for asylum seekers.
- Oversee orders and ensure smooth production on the ground.
- Promote the «One for One» project, ensuring sufficient print sales.
- Assist in organizing exhibitions across Europe to raise awareness.
- Act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to the project.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to the on-ground team and report to the director.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Motivated, well-structured, creative, and reliable.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Willing to commit 10-15% of your time to this important cause.
- An understanding of the asylum seeker context, legal situations, and selfm.aid is a plus.
- Alignment with our values, philosophy, and vision.
