Project Coordinator - "Phones without Borders"

About «Phones without Borders» (PWB):
«PWB» is a groundbreaking project initiated by selfm.aid. Our mission is to collect used smartphones in Europe, process them locally (including repairs and data deletion), and efficiently distribute them to those who need them most. As a remote Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining partnerships with organizations providing us with used phones from Europe.
As project coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Establish and maintain a network of private donors, companies, and lost and found centers to ensure a steady supply of used smartphones.
- Cultivate and nurture partnerships with organizations to support the «Phones without Borders» project.
- Promote the project and serve as a representative of selfm.aid.
- Organize transportation logistics to Samos, ensuring a seamless flow of smartphones.
- Act as the main point of contact for inquiries and requests in Europe related to phone intake for «Phones without Borders.»
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to outreach and relationship building.
- Motivated, well-organized, creative, and reliable.
- Willing to commit 10-15% of your time to this important cause.
- Alignment with our values, philosophy, and vision.
