Art-Studio
in the SKILLS FACTORY on Samos
The Art Department is a place of colour, creativity and collaboration. The community volunteers are provided with all the necessary materials and an inviting space to create art across various mediums - whether drawing, painting, sculpture, lino, or a screen print. It's a place to learn new skills, advance and experiment.
Our work in the art studio includes:
- Screen printing (production of frames, designs and exposure)
- Painting, drawing, making cards, posters and much more
- Printing and customization of textiles and/or pieces of furniture (upcycling)
- Linoprints (especially for the ONE for ONE project)
- Pottery, creative arts
- Exchange of professional knowledge and various techniques from all over the world

In order to further expand our art studio and keep it alive, we depend on the support of sponsors.
It is particularly important to us, whenever possible, to buy the consumables directly on the island from our local partners and thus support small, family businesses. We only order special materials that are not available on the island from our partners in Athens.
